Maybe It's Fine
Moncrieff is an Irish singer-songwriter whose unique blend of pop, soul, and alternative music has made him one of the most compelling voices in the modern music scene. Moncrieff, whose real name is Chris Breheny, released his first solo songs back in 2017. Since then, he has caught the attention of many. Elton John praised him on his show Elton Johnās Rocket Hour, Adele invited him to join her background choir for a TV performance.
Though it might be Moncrieffās debut album, Maybe Itās Fine is a document of his journey through adulthood. Its twelve songs find him charting and surveying his own growth, both as musician and a person. From the struggling songwriter making a break from Ireland to London while still reeling from the loss of his siblings when he was a teenager, to the multifaceted, genre-straddling artist of today.
āI started this journey into music ten years ago. Thereās been literally thousands of stories and ideas since and trying to condense it into twelve songs was difficult,ā says Moncrieff. āIn that time, Iāve been countless different versions of myself. This album is the story of that growth. Where Iāve come from, where I am and where Iām going.
