After 30 years, NIGHTINGALE's celebrated first full-length, “The Breathing Shadow”, is available again – on CD and for the first time ever on LP – in re-mastered shape by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Opeth, Katatonia, etc.).

Originally released only on CD in 1995, “The Breathing Shadow” showcased Swanö’s newfound penchant for gothic-tinged hard rock, loosely based off the success of Edge of Sanity’s "Sacrificed", a track that cemented Swanö as metaldom’s master of genres.

Featuring stand-outs “Nightfall Overture”, “Gypsy Eyes”, “Alone?” and “The Dreamreader”, plus 13 bonus tracks for the 2CD format (Including remixes, live tracks and demo versions), the album is singular in NIGHTINGALE’s impressive repertoire.
